Verónica Dolç Vazquez
Vice President of Alcoa Operations in Europe
Veronica is Vice President of Operations in Europe for Alcoa. She is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of the Alcoa’s production Operations portfolio in Europe, including the four Alcoa’s smelters in Iceland, Norway and Spain and the Alcoa´s refinery in Spain. Veronica leads over 2,400 Alcoa employees with P&L responsibility for over $3B revenue.
Veronica is accountable for delivering a long-term sustainable business, focusing on safety first, protecting environmental license to operate with host governments and communities, taking care and improving integrity of assets to optimize lifetime value and driving productivity improvements, while maintaining the highest quality standards and on-time delivery of Alcoa products to its customers.
Veronica is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Aluminum Association.
Prior to joining Alcoa in July 2022, she served as Vice President of Operations for Flowserve Pump Division. She brings 25-year experience in metals and mechanical industry, with a large variety of roles in Corporate, Manufacturing Plants and Functional Organizations, leading successful teams combining strategy definition and operational execution.
Verónica holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, is a certified Project Director and certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
